I went to undergrad in Searcy, Arkansas, a little Christian school, Harding University. I got a track scholarship there so I went up there and I studied business and science and then once I graduated from there, I came back to Dallas, where I'm from, and I went to Texas A&M, Baylor, College of Dentistry downtown.
Since then, I've done a lot of continuing education. I really follow Dr. Frank Spear a lot and the Spear Institute. Since then, I just try to stay in as much as I can because continuing education for us as dentists, it never stops—it’s always going. Continuing education's really important in the field of dentistry just because new technologies are always coming out, our field's always changing. There's new techniques and different things like that, and we always want to be able to provide the best for our patients.
To ensure he stays up-to-date on the latest advances in the dental field, Dr.Callier is a member of the following professional organizations:
- The American Dental Association
- The Texas Dental Association
- The Dallas County Dental Society
- The Academy of General Dentistry
- The American Association of Endodontics
While attending Harding University, Dr. Callier was also a member of the track team and participated in the high jump event. Now he stays in shape and satisfies his love of athletic activity by bicycling and playing basketball. He also enjoys building and working with his hands.
