One Of The United States Air Force Newest Airmen….Airman Ethan Kerbel

So many of you have asked “How is Ethan doing at basic training” so here is an update. He graduated this past weekend from basic training, at Lackland Air Force Base, and is now training at Goodfellow AFB in the area of Intelligence Operations. The graduation ceremony was simply inspiring. Just a few short hours ago I stood in front of 580 Air Force HEROES listening to Lee Greenwood’s great anthem played boldly over the loud system. You could not help but be filled with a swell of emotions hearing this song and watching these great men and women vowing to serve, protect, and defend this country as “American Airmen”. Ethan Kerbel, my son, was one of those men who has chosen to “defend her still today” and my heart is filled with joy and pride for his decision. I do not know how much longer God will bless the USA, but I know He has today through the choice of each of these warriors’ willingness to serve. God bless you Ethan and all our warriors, past and present, that have chosen to carry the flag of freedom for this country. Our country honors each of you, and we are humbled by your service to the “land of the free and the home of the brave”…God Bless the USA…..Ethan Kerbel

“‘Cause the flag still stands for freedom
And they can’t take that away.
And I’m proud to be an American
Where at least I know I’m free.
And I won’t forget the men who died
Who gave that right to me.
And I’d gladly stand up next to you
And defend her still today.
‘Cause there ain’t no doubt I love this land.
God bless the USA.”
