Tooth Whitening Dallas Bleaching
Zoom!® Teeth Whitening
Do you need whiter teeth fast? Dr. Gregory Allen Kerbel, one of the best cosmetic dentists in Dallas, offers Zoom!® Advanced Power Teeth Whitening in our Garland dental office. Unlike DIY whitening kits with uncomfortable, poorly fitting mouth trays and unfamiliar bleaching agents, Zoom!® Advanced Power Teeth Whitening is conducted at the dental office under the watchful eye of a professional.

What To Expect During Zoom!® Teeth Whitening
To maximize the results of your teeth whitening, Dr. Kerbel recommends a regular dental cleaning prior to the procedure. This ensures that the bleaching agent can penetrate the surface of your teeth, bleaching away deep stains. The procedure begins with a dental assistant carefully applying a protective covering over the lips and gums to protect those areas from irritation. The teeth are left exposed, so that they can be treated with prescription-grade dental whitening gel.
Next, we’ll apply the Zoom!® Advanced Power Teeth Whitening gel. This gel, which contains dental-grade hydrogen peroxide, is activated with a gentle UV light, allowing the dentist to carefully control the intensity and the duration of the treatment. Once the gel is in place, the Zoom light is moved in front of your mouth to illuminate the whitening gel. The ultra-violet light from the Zoom lamp helps to break up stains and discoloration, creating an instantly whiter, brighter smile.
During treatment, patients can relax, watch television, or listen to our in-office satellite radio. After 15-minutes, the Zoom light is turned off and the gel is carefully cleaned off of the teeth. To prevent patient discomfort, fluoride rinses and anti-sensitivity gel are applied to the teeth following treatment. To achieve the desired whitening results, most patients undergo three 15-minute whitening sessions.
Advantages of Zoom!® Teeth Whitening
There is a reason that Zoom!® Advanced Power Teeth Whitening is the #1 most requested whitening treatment in dental offices. Here are some of the powerful benefits of Zoom!® Advanced Power Teeth Whitening.
Forget about fussing with whitening trays overnight or trying to find the time to apply those sticky strips. Zoom!® Advanced Power Teeth Whitening is so fast and effective that all three whitening sessions take under an hour to complete. After three fifteen-minute sessions, your smile will look bright white, clean, and beautiful.
Zoom!® Advanced Power Teeth Whitening offers powerful, quick results, with most patients enjoying teeth that are 8-11 shades brighter after treatment is completed. The Zoom Whitening system also allows patients to choose their desired “goal shade,” which means that you can brighten your teeth as much or as little as you want.
Because Zoom!® Advanced Power Teeth Whitening is performed at our office under the watchful eye of Dr. Kerbel, it is incredibly safe. Although some patients report tooth sensitivity, having your teeth whitened in the office helps you to prevent some of the other common negative side effects of whitening, such as burned, irritated gum or mouth tissue. In fact, most patients report that the Zoom!® Advanced Power Teeth Whitening process is completely painless.
Protecting Your Whitened Teeth With A Touch-Up Kit
Even the whitest, brightest smile can be dimmed by normal eating and lifestyle habits. To protect your newly whitened teeth, Dr. Kerbel recommends maintaining your teeth through careful oral hygiene and regular dental checkups, as well as a custom at-home whitening kit. These kits include custom-tailored bleaching trays designed to fit the contours of your teeth, dental-grade bleaching gel, and instructions on how to use the kit. Although this whitening process is slower than the Zoom!® Advanced Power Teeth Whitening, it can help patients to keep their smile white and beautiful.
