Full mouth reconstruction is really a ... is an exciting area of practice. I remember I had two patients come in. It was funny, they both told me that same kind of story. One guy said, “You know, I'm interviewing for this job, and what I wanna do is I wanna fix my smile. I want it to be a knock-out. You do what needs to be done to fix it.“ And I looked, and unfortunately he needed a full mouth reconstruction, which meant we needed to go in and put individual crowns on all of his upper teeth to really change his smile, perfect his bite, and to give him what he was after.
It was not just a day or two later I had another individual come in. He told me that same story: “I'm after this job. I wanna get this job, and I want you to fix my teeth.“ And I explained to him what he needed, and he said, “Well, you know, let's just do this instead. Let's just whiten them, and let's see what happens.“ And I said, “Well, you're really not gonna achieve what you wanna achieve, but we can do that.“ And so, long story short, both of these individuals were going for the same job.
We finished the smile makeover, complete, full mouth reconstruction. The man came in. He said, “I got the job.“ Here's the funny part: as he was leaving, he saw the other individual that we were treating, and he said to him, “Do you see Dr. Kerbel?“ And he said, “Yeah.“ He goes, “That's just not fair. Your smile is absolutely beautiful. I'll bet that's why you got the job.“
It's a funny story, but what it did for him is it gave him an incredible sense of confidence. His smile was bigger, he walked into that room with a confident smile. I believe, personally, that's what got him the job: a beautiful smile with a sense of confidence.

The Advantages Of Dental Implants
If you are a good candidate for dental implants, they could be a great option for you. Unlike other tooth replacement options, dental implants literally fuse with your jawbone through a process called osseointegration. This creates a strong, sturdy foundation for dentures or other restorative treatment!
If your jaw is not thick or strong enough for dental implants, we may be able to place mini dental implants instead! We may also be able to thicken and strengthen your jaw with a bone graft or ridge augmentation!
Ceramic Crowns For a New Smile
Beautify your smile by changing the shape, color, or even size of your teeth. This process is a form of full-mouth reconstruction that is often just as effective as actual tooth replacement. By adding ceramic crowns, we can correct misaligned bites and restore your ability to chew effectively.
